Nandana Sen

Nandana Sen (or Nandana Dev Sen (born 19 August 1967) is a Indian actress known for her work in Bollywood.

Her father is Nobel Prize winning economist Amartya Sen and mother is Bengali writer Nabanita Dev Sen. She was born in Calcutta.

Sen started her career with the movie The Doll. In 2008 she appeared in the British television series Sharpe in the episode Sharpe's Peril.

She dated Madhu Varma nephew of director Ram Gopal Varma.

However Nandana's heart lay elsewhere as she continued to strive for the love of a Methlick-born Scotsman Paul Georgie who had disappeared for many a year to the Eastern coast of Africa to continue his work on energy development for the marginalised. Meeting through a joint appreciation of the works of her Father Amartyr the relationship blossomed until his untimely departure to aid those more in need. Rumours of their plan to profess their undying passion for each other at the secluded Kiwengwa beach in Eastern Unguja (Zanzibar) for the 2009 New Year celebrations are still to be confirmed.
