Sikh's are well known, well respected and reputed citizens of India who follow Sikhism. They wear turbans for a unique and divine look. They are no where related to Mulslims, Pakistani's, Al-Qaeda or Taliban's. A very good example of a sikh is the Indian Prime Minister Sardar Manmohan Singh and then England Cricket Team Spinner Monty Panesar. Nihang's are also sikh's but a separate clan who believes in different morals and values than the divine sikhs. They are Sikh Warriors.
Nihang (pronounced Nee-hung) ( ਨਿੰਹਗ )(also: called Akalis) is an armed Sikh order.
Early Sikh military history is dominated by the Akali Sikh military order particularly for many famous military victories won while often heavily out-numbered. The Akalis have historically been held in great affection and respect by Sikhs due the pivotal role they have played in Sikh history and Sikh military history in particular.
The Nihang order is today mostly ceremonial because it is peacetime in India but in times of war, the Akalis have historically spear-headed the attack on the enemies of the Sikh religion.
