Tamil and Telugu actress Trisha Krishnan will be debuting in Bollywood in the film "Khatta Meetha" opposite Akshay Kumar.
Trisha Krishnan was born on May 4th 1983 in Pallakad Kerala India and made her acting debut in the 2002 Tamil film Laysa Laysa in a small part as Gayathri's (played by Simran) girlfriend.
Since Laysa Laysa she has appeared in over thirty Tamil and Telugu films.
"Khatta Meeta" is a remake of the 1989 hit Malayalam film Vellanakalude Nadu and is scheduled to be released on July 23 2010.
It was written by Sreenivasan and directed by Priyadarshan.
Besides Trishna and Akshay the movie stars Johnny Lever Urvashi Sharma and Aruna Irani.
