Delhi-6 movie story
Delhi-6 movie which is schedule to release in 2009 a forthcoming Hindi film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra starring Abhishek Bachchan Sonam Kapoor Om Puri Atul Kulkarni and Divya Dutta. The movie is based on O P Mehra's growing up years in Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi. American-born Indian Roshan (Abhishek Bachchan) brings his ailing grandmother (Waheeda Rahman) back to her former home in Chandni Chowk the walled city of Old Delhi. There he meets Bittu (Sonam Kapoor) the beautiful daughter of a neighbor and becomes involved in Hindu and Muslim religious riots following attacks attributed to a phantom figure popularly dubbed the "Black Monkey". The title refers to the Postal Index Number code of that part of the city.
